Emotionally Eating My Way Through San Francisco

Food and everyday problems are glues that brings people together. Those are the two things that people share with each other, whether it be at home sitting at the kitchen table or at a restaurant. For me, I usually eat alone and my problems are kept to myself. I’ve been living in San Francisco for some time and despite its many problems I don’t plan on leaving this city. I’ve traveled throughout the United States and I don’t see myself living anywhere else. I love food and San Francisco focuses on food through its never-ending restaurants. There’s always something new and good popping up and there’s no end in sight. I plan on visiting these restaurants by myself while contemplating everyday life for a San Franciscan.

Follow me, Wes Yung, through my food journey as I visit restaurants throughout San Francisco, focusing on the ones Anthony Bourdain visited along with other destinations I would like to visit or are worth highlighting. Surprisingly, for someone that has been living in San Francisco for a significant amount of time, I haven’t been to most of the restaurants lauded by Bourdain. This is a way for me to continue learning more about the city that I love and share that experience with others. Luckily, I’m always hungry and thinking about life.
